Bandit.... A job well done.

Bandit made it to North Carolina!! - a huge thank you to my parents and our drivers for getting her there safely!!!

It took a good half of the day getting Bandit prepped to enter the water and off of the trailer. The temperatures were in the upper 90s - 100s which made for an extremely hot few hours!

We motored her just a few yards to her new home... a slip right beside our new sailing school fleet. We were getting a little tired and hot and took a break from Bandit for the day, meeting back in the evening to go on a sunset sail on our other boat, Barefoot, where we enjoyed using the grill and sailing her for the first time since moving to North Carolina.

The next day was spent putting the sails and running rigging on Bandit then taking her out for a test spin into Broad Creek / Neuse River. It was over a hundred degrees with little wind so our trip was cut short as we headed back to shore and the A/C. With no bimini, it made for a hot, but fun little trip! Everything worked great and she is now ready to set sail teaching ASA courses!
