Last week we had a mechanic over to check out S/V Barefoot's engine for her 3,000 hour maintenance check up. It costs around $95 an hour for him to come out but it is definitely worth having the peace of mind that everything is still ship shape!

We took the access panels and doors off of the engine to help make accessing the engine easier for the mechanic and even loosened a few bolts to make the process go smoothly.
