Biscayne National Park Day Sails

Thursday, April 07, 2016

We have been helping to fill out our schedules by filling in here and there on Harold's new branch of day sails touring Biscayne National Park. We load up sailboats with kaysks, paddle boards, and snorkel gear spending 2 hours sailing out to our island park destinations, 2 hours visiting the island / playing in the water and 2 hours sailing back. Harold runs these trips out of the Biscayne National park visitors center in Homestead with up to 6 passengers onboard. On weekdays we visit my favorite island, Boca Chita.

On most days, there is only one boat scheduled for the day so we run Adventurer, a 45' Gulfstar but if its fully booked we include our old boat, Morning g Dance a 41' Morgan Outisland into the mix.
